Cover Reveal – Ichabod Fly and the Great Newspaper Roundup

I’ve never read anything by Bree Pembrook, but I am SO READY to.

She’s releasing a novelette with the epic title of Ichabod Fly and the Great Newspaper Roundup! It sounds hilarious, and I don’t know about you, but I LOVE some good comedy. The world needs more reasons to laugh. 😉

(And plus, I greatly admire authors who can pull off comedy. Would that it were my forte. *deep sigh* 🤭)

But enough lamenting and…whatever else I was doing. First, the book blurb, then the cover itself!

About Ichabod Fly and the Great Newspaper Roundup

What happens when you spend too long in a bathtub? Nothing good. When Prince Chow Ming III is caught wrinkly-handed in his bathrobe by a nosy reporter after too lengthy a soak, it’s up to him to save his name and dignity… or what’s left of it. With the help of loyal assistants Mr. Grayson, Professor Cardamom, and Rutabaga HippHopp, the prince sets out on an epic quest to rid the country of the humiliating newspapers. Will he succeed? Or will he be doomed to have a muddied—or wrinkled—name forever?

And now for the cover!!!!

About the Author!

Bree Pembrook is a crazy, teenage, Christian author with
too many works-in-progress and not enough time. When she isn’t banging her head against her desk in an effort to get her characters to talk to her, you can find her reading, hanging out with friends, listening to music, and hoarding chocolate, as she is not only a book stockpiler but a chocolate dragon as well. She can also be found in her unnatural habitat on her sometimes-neglected blog, laughsandliterature.wordpress.com.

Now for some epic sneak peeks!

Do you enjoy humor in fiction too? Which quote made you laugh hardest? (I like the middle one best!) Is comedy your strong suit in writing? How is July coming along for you?

  1. The first quote was what made we chuckle lol. And it took a second before I realized that parchment laceration was an eloquent way of saying ‘paper cut’ XD. I need that last quote on a t-shirt. *sighs* Alas, I do like humorous stories, but the talent to write them somewhat eludes me 😉
