It’s thrilling and wild and crazy. 🤩 I never would have imagined I’d be published this soon (although it has been a work in progress for the past year!), and to have this day finally here is quite surreal. It’s been a delight to work along with Grace A. Johnson, Issabelle Perry, and the eleven other amazing authors to bring this to you all!

Me: Oh. Hi, Ev. You’re not supposed to be here.

Evangeline: Well, thanks! Why on earth was the giveaway supposed to be a secret, Saraina? Don’t you want people to read about Reed and I? All those wonderful characters whose stories are featured along with ours in the anthology?

Me: Umm…yeah, of course.

Evangeline: Oh, sorry. I must’ve been mistaken, then. For a minute I was worried you…didn’t…really…care about us anymore.

Me: Aww, girl! That would never happen, trust me!

Evangeline: Okay. *hesitant smile* Then what’s going to happen in my sequel?

Me: *blinks*

Evangeline: *smile disappears* That’s what I thought.

Me: Hey, seriously, it’s gonna be okay! I’m still figuring out the details but I think the tragedy will stay to a minimum.

Evangeline: Did you say TRAGEDY?

Me: Uh, not tragedy, per se… *sees Reed glance at us with a concerned frown on his face* Oh dear. I’d better leave before this gets any worse. Guys, it’s Valentine’s Day! Just for a minute, don’t worry about the future! Remember what you learned in your story?

Evangeline: *takes a deep breath* I suppose you do have a point. At the very least I won’t be going through it on my own, praise Jesus. But I do have one question, Saraina. Would you tell me just how many more handkerchiefs I’ll need?

Me: *winks* Just Reed’s.

Reed: Hers, you mean. I’ve given up my rights to it by now, so it’s not even mine anymore.

Evangeline: Then what will you use?

Reed: *levels a look my way* That’s for the author to decide.

Me: *mumbles* You’re not exactly displaying a Valentine’s-Day-worthy picture of love right now.

Evangeline: Well, Miss Author, none of this would have happened if you had just mentioned the giveaway like a normal human being.

Reed: *in an aside to Ev* No need to pretend you’re all that concerned with being normal, sweetheart. That’s why I love you.

Me: *sighs* What can I say? I’ve learned my lesson.

*coughs* Well, I’m not sure what that was…or where it came from…but thank you for joining me on this journey, friends, and here’s to many more release days to come! *clinks a glass of pink lemonade against yours* Happy release day to Tell Me You Love Me, to Seize the Love, and happy Valentine’s Day! 💞
