Blography Tag!

Hello! Today I’m doing the Blography tag and I’m just now editing this post and adding an introduction because it looked weird without one! 😀

Rules

  • Link back to the original site. (Miles!)
  • Mention the one who tagged you. (Sisters Three!! Thank you!)
  • Write an autobiography in seven words.
  • For this, they do not need to form a complete sentence.
  • To make it more interesting, answer seven-word questions.
  • Tag seven other bloggers.
  • Think of seven-word questions, or use the same ones as you answered.

SEVEN-WORD biography

[*enters into a state of shock* *then thinks desperately*]

Trying, failing, growing, learning, trusting, hoping, enduring.

[That will have to do for now. 🙂 ]

The Questions

What’s the worst memory from your childhood?

So sad! Well, most I’ve probably tried to block out of my memory, and I have a horrible time trying to choose the best or worst of things, so this is a hard question! I really don’t know. Maybe times I got into trouble?

What is your favorite biography or autobiography?

Not having read that many, I’ll answer by saying the most memorable was a biography about the missionary Lillian Trasher. Though I also enjoyed one about Handel, and one about a scientist (hey, I was little, so I can’t remember who exactly it was, lol. May have been Edison. No! It was Faraday, I remember now. XD)

How would you start your awesome autobiography?

Sometimes, feelings are too vast to put into words, thoughts too deep to filter into marks on paper.

(I doubt that’s how I really would start it, but I probably shouldn’t succumb to spending hours thinking of how I’d actually start my autobiography. 😀 )

How would you end your awesome autobiography?

There is one thing that can chase away darkness and redeem the pain in this world, and that is the Light.

Got to have a powerful theme but be a bit generic because I don’t know exactly what my autobiography would be about lol)

Would you rather read biographies or fiction?

I will admit: fiction. 😀 (Not sure why I feel guilty… apparently I think I should like non-fiction more than fiction.)

During a crisis what would you do, go? (Go counts, to make it seven words, right?)

It totally counts lol!! 😀

Hmm. Drawing off of past experiences, I’d probably…

  • Make sure it’s not a joke or false alarm
  • Look for the first thing I can do to help
  • If I’m the one in charge, I’d be telling people what to do and how to help

I say make sure it’s not a joke or false alarm cause, well… living with a younger brother who specializes in joking around teaches you not to react – or try not to react – to most things. Sometimes that’s a good thing, but in a crisis, I don’t think non-reactiveness is the best trait.

What animal would you write (a) biography?

Aww! I’d write a biography about a horse, bird, or rabbit (hi fellow Green Ember fans! *winks*). Or a butterfly. That could be interesting. Oh wait, a dog! Yeah, probably that.

Nominations

  1. Katherine and Grace Avender at Maidens of Green Gables
  2. Elisha at The Voyaging Storyteller
  3. Lillian Keith at The Introspective Introvert
  4. Kristina Hall
  5. Sisters Three (tagging you right back hahaha)
  6. Vanessa Hall
  7. Kristianne Hassman at Whimsical Wanderings

I know a lot of you or maybe even all of you have already done the tag, so if you’re bored of it, you don’t need to do it! 😀

The New Questions

(These were hard to come up with! If the phrasing’s off, well… tell me how I could have done better. *stares challengingly* HAHA just kidding! 😂)

  1. What is the benefit of reading autobiographies?
  2. Would you rather read autobiographies or biographies?
  3. What would your autobiography really be about?
  4. Is it hard to remember earlier memories?
  5. Or harder to remember more recent memories?
  6. Could your life be a believable novel?
  7. Who should you write a biography about?

Original questions, wouldn’t you say? 😉 Anyway, I hope you enjoyed reading this! If you want, feel free to answer the questions in the comments! (And btw, sorry for the unintentional short hiatus… part of the reason was that I couldn’t decide which post I wanted to do next. *shakes head and sighs* Classic me for you. 😜)

  2. Thanks for the tag Saraina, this will be challenging! And in my opinion, fiction is just as important as non-fiction… maybe a tad more so depending on what book it is 😉

    1. Yay, you’re welcome!! 😀 I think it might have been “The Life of Lillian Trasher: Nile Mother”… at least that sounds familiar. It was very good and yes, she was a fascinating person to learn about!

  3. OOOO I loved reading your answers!!!! (Also SUPER sorry I disappeared from your blog there. School’s been a bit consuming lately. 😦 ) Your opening and ending sentences for your autobiography sound SO GOOD!!! I would totally read an biography about you. 😄 And if it makes you feel less guilty I prefer fiction over non-fiction too. 😉
